Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Smasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Smasher! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Bell! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A clash of legs there as Smasher blocks the low kick. Horrible takedown by Smasher or perhaps it was just good defense by Bell which made him look bad. Smasher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. No luck with that takedown attempt from Smasher. Bell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A low kick from Smasher misses and Bell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Smasher throws a leg kick and Bell makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Smasher really felt that one! A low kick from Bell is predictable there and Smasher counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bell wants to stand up but Smasher is controlling him. Smasher wants to stand and escape but instead Bell has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bell is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Smasher is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bell trying to control the position here. Smasher prevents Bell from getting back to his feet. Smasher tries to stand but Bell is controlling from the bottom. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bell scores with a body shot.

Smasher closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Smasher decides to stand back up. Smasher throws a leg kick and Bell makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

and Smasher counters with a nice leg kick. Smasher dives in and grabs Bell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bell pushes down on Smasher's head and hops out. Smasher fails with a takedown attempt. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
