Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendall Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kendall Clarke! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Clarke fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Clarke throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Clarke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Silva lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Clarke with a lazy takedown attempt and Silva counters with a lovely shot to the body. Clarke with a poor takedown and Silva counters with a nice uppercut. Ryan Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kendall Clarke. Clarke scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Silva is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Clarke's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Silva controlling the position well. Silva makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Silva. Clarke wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clarke accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Silva pulls Clarke in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarke wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position. Silva looking for a guillotine here but Clarke defends easily.
Clarke thows a big elbow that misses. Clarke is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Clarke trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Clarke trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Silva controls Clarke momentarily but Clarke frees himself. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Clarke postures up.

Clarke cracks Silva with a solid left hand. Clarke thows a big elbow that misses. Clarke is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control. Silva is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Silva is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Clarke defends well. Clarke throws a big right hand that misses. Clarke in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Silva keeping moving, preventing Clarke from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Clarke defends it easily. Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Clarke missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Clarke landing some decent shots from guard. Silva tries to land a sweep but no joy. Silva keeping moving, preventing Clarke from controlling successfully. Clarke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard. Clarke wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Clarke working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Silva's head. Clarke preventing the sweep. Clarke postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Clarke wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Clarke is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Silva can't keep his opponent in guard - Clarke advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kendall Clarke dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Clarke swings and misses with a shot to the body and Silva counters with a low kick, right behind Clarke 's knee. Clarke with a lazy takedown attempt and Silva counters with a thumping low kick. Clarke avoids the head kick by Silva.
Clarke fails with the takedown and Silva counters with an outside leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Silva. Clarke does a little dance to reset his feet. Clarke darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Silva trying to control but Clarke postures up.
Silva tries to roll over but Clarke keeps him under control. Silva is staying active underneath Clarke, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva tries to get to full guard but Clarke has control of the leg. Silva moves into full guard.
Silva keeping moving, preventing Clarke from controlling successfully. Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Clarke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Clarke is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Silva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Silva keeping moving, preventing Clarke from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Clarke drops back, looking for a kneebar! Silva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Silva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Silva! Silva tries to score with some ground and pound. Clarke controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Silva tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Clarke gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Clarke slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Clarke looking for a sweep. Not yet Clarke, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Silva trying to control but Clarke is working from the bottom. Clarke looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Clarke has control of Silva's left arm, preventing Silva from doing any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Silva scoring well with a low kick there.
Kendall Clarke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clarke fails with a takedown attempt. Ryan Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kendall Clarke. Clarke throws a combination that misses and Silva counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Clarke! The referee warns Clarke that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Silva showed his dominance in that final round. Well Silva has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
