Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Kolodin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pru Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alan Kolodin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pru Dent! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolodin throws a series of punches but Dent moves out of range. Dent throws out a loose jab but Kolodin uses good head movement to avoid it. Kolodin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dent. Dent throws a body punch but Kolodin moves out of range. Kolodin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dent counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dent. Dent makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Dent displaying some good clinch control by pressing Kolodin up against the cage. Dent swings wildly with an uppercut but Kolodin uses good head movement to avoid it. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kolodin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Kolodin jumps guard but Dent stands there with Kolodin around his waist. Kolodin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dent lands a body punch in the clinch. Kolodin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dent gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alan Kolodin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dent gets a trip takedown into half guard. Kolodin tries to get to full guard but Dent has control of the leg. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kolodin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kolodin. Dent won't allow Kolodin to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dent stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kolodin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dent trying to control the position from guard on top but Kolodin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dent showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Pru Dent wasn't active enough on the ground. Kolodin shoots and misses and Dent counters with a straight right hand. Dent lands a jab. Alan Kolodin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kolodin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dent wants to clinch up but Kolodin keeps it at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kolodin defending well as Dent loads up on a big left hand. The fight stays on the outside here - Dent looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kolodin tries to clinch and Dent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dent looks to land a left hand but Kolodin moved out of range nicely. Dent just misses with a punch to the body.
Pru Dent is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A jab from Dent finds it's way through Kolodin's defenses. Kolodin throws a predictable looking body shot
and Dent counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Dent misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Dent misses. Dent gets caught flat footed, as Kolodin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kolodin is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dent is looking for a triangle but Kolodin pushes his legs off easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dent can do anything to dispel that myth. Dent is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kolodin trying to control but Dent is working from the bottom. Kolodin drops back looking for a leg! Dent is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dent manages to kick Kolodin off! Kolodin jumps back into Dent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pru Dent dominated that round. That's time! Kolodin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kolodin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kolodin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dent sprawls well initially but Kolodin persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kolodin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kolodin wants to take a breather but Dent is having none of it. Dent wants to control but Kolodin is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kolodin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Dent makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dent. Dent pulls Kolodin in close to his closed guard and prevents Kolodin from doing any damage or advancing position. Kolodin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kolodin trying to control the position from guard on top but Dent is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Kolodin postures up.
Dent escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kolodin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kolodin trying to control the position from guard on top but Dent is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dent is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kolodin is aware though and is defending well. Dent really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kolodin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kolodin distracts Dent with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Dent utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kolodin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dent works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kolodin trying to control the position from guard on top but Dent is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dent working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kolodin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kolodin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kolodin stays in close to Dent's body and controls the position. Kolodin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dent swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dent wants to sweep here but Kolodin controlling him for the moment. Kolodin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kolodin trying to control but Dent is working from the bottom. Kolodin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dent is keeping the position for now. Kolodin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kolodin advances to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dent tries to roll over but Kolodin keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alan Kolodin dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Dent missing with a left hand there. Kolodin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Dent scores with a jab to the jaw. Kolodin with a lazy takedown attempt and Dent counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kolodin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Dent has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kolodin is working for takedown but Dent is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alan Kolodin. That's going to take a lot out of him. A short left from Dent. Dent lands a takedown into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dent content to control rather than advance. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dent is trying to control the action in half guard but Kolodin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Dent not doing much here.
Kolodin is staying active underneath Dent, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pru Dent has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Kolodin doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dent counters with a stiff right hand. Kolodin with a lazy takedown attempt and Dent makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Dent cracks a nice hook into Kolodin's ribs. Kolodin misses with a body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kolodin tries to clinch and Dent counters with a lovely shot to the body. Dent lands with a nice body punch. Dent ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Dent tries to close the distance and clinch but Kolodin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dent takes the fight into the clinch. Kolodin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dent pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dent looks to score with a jab to the body but Kolodin is just out of range. Kolodin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dent napping and manages to drive through into side control! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dent is trying to control Kolodin's posture but Kolodin avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kolodin moves into full mount! Dent tries to hold on but Kolodin pushes him away. Kolodin wants to control the pace but Dent is squirming around nicely. Kolodin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dent's face.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dent is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kolodin controlling the pace for now. Kolodin is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dent has managed to escape the submission attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Pru Dent comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dent has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
