Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiger Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Go To Sleep by Eminem feat. DMX, Obie Trice. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Quinton Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, David Schapiro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Quinton Johnson has been cut.
Johnson clinches.
Johnson wants to get back to striking at distance but Cruz won't allow it.
Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cruz walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Johnson has a takedown stuffed.
Cruz misses the shot to the body.
Cruz feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Johnson sprawling to the canvas! Johnson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cruz finish him?!
Johnson is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cruz misses with a left hand
and Johnson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cruz!
Johnson is still in real trouble! Can Cruz finish him?
Cruz regains half guard.
Johnson seems to have recovered his senses.
Cruz manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Cruz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cruz rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Johnson counters with a one-two to the body.
Cruz throws a hook to the side of Johnson's head but Johnson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cruz lands with a right that hurts Johnson. Johnson looks to clinch but Cruz throws a short knee that drops Johnson. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Tiger Cruz!
