Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Augustine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fox might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 2nd Round KO. The crowd seem to be enjoying Augustine's choice of entrance music: The Stooges - I Wanna Be Your Dog. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Augustine misses with a right hand
and Fox counters with a nice body shot.
Augustine throws a right hand that misses
and Fox counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Augustine works the jab nicely.
Augustine moves into range and connects with a jab.
Fox misses with a hook.
Augustine loads up on a big right hand but Fox slips the punch.
Augustine misses with a series of wild punches.

and Fox counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Fox stands and throws Augustine's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Fox is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Augustine is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fox can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Augustine is looking to escape.

Augustine is trying desperately to improve position.

Fox drops back looking for a leg! Augustine is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Augustine manages to kick Fox off! Fox jumps back into Augustine's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Fox takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Augustine avoids the head kick by Fox.
Augustine connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fox's hands.

Augustine lands a nice shot that snaps Fox's head back.
Fox throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Augustine counters with a one-two to the body.
Augustine swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tim Augustine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fox throws out a loose jab but Augustine uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fox throws a sloppy head kick and Augustine moves out of range easily.

Augustine tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fox manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

enabling Augustine to counter with a crisp jab.
Fox tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Augustine was well out of range. Poor timing from Fox.
Augustine throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Augustine counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Augustine shoots in looking for a takedown but Fox manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Augustine's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Augustine drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Fox has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fox wants to stand but Augustine is controlling the position.

Augustine throws a strike but Fox rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
