Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Jules (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrej Sharko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sharko, as that shot connected.
Sharko fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sharko is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jules misses with a body kick.
Sharko swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jules throws a body kick that misses.
Jules walks into a jab.
Jules goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Sharko takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Sharko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jules circles away.

Sharko throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Sharko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jules gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jules wanted to stand there but Sharko had control of the position.
Sharko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sharko is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jules defends well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sharko has his foot on Jules's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jules works his way back into a safe position though.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sharko crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jules - the referee stops the clock and Sharko gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jules. Sharko manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
