Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Mathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathers comes to the cage accompanied by Anthem of Kings. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marshall Mathers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Nelson! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson throws a series of punches but Mathers avoids them all with ease. Nelson throws a lazy uppercut
and Mathers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Roy Nelson has been cut. Nelson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Nelson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nelson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Nelson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Mathers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nelson on the ground. Nelson tries to control but Mathers wriggling away. Nelson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mathers kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Nelson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Mathers has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mathers is looking to improve his position but Nelson isn't that keen on the idea. Mathers avoids a series of strikes thrown by Nelson.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nelson sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Mathers is desperately trying to improve his position but Nelson has a good base and remains in mount. Nelson trying to control but Mathers is having none of it. Nelson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mathers manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nelson trying to control the action but Mathers is working from the bottom. Nelson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mathers knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Mathers struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mathers is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Nelson works to advance to full mount. Mathers defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Mathers is squirming around, avoiding Nelson's attempts to control the action. Nelson is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Nelson!
