Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicola Kalub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicola Kalub!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Silva!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalub clinches up with Silva and pushes him back against the cage.
Kalub looking for a takedown.
Silva lands a knee to the head.
Kalub tries to break the clinch but Silva is controlling the position.
Kalub drops down looking for an ankle pick but Silva pulls his leg out and moves away.
Silva looks to clinch
and Kalub counters with a good, hard body kick but Silva shrugs it off.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kalub tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicola Kalub. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Kalub lands a takedown into guard.
Kalub trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom.
Kalub wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.
Kalub wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.

Kalub slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Silva tries to buck Kalub off but Kalub is having none of it.
Kalub decides to stand back up.
Kalub changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kalub wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Kalub decides to stand back up.
Silva looks to clinch
and Kalub decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Silva's guard.
Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kalub is controlling him.
Silva scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Kalub is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Kalub pushes him off.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kalub pinned against the cage. Kalub gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silva clinches but Kalub breaks the clinch
and Kalub counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva wants to stand but Kalub is controlling the position.
Silva keeping moving, preventing Kalub from controlling successfully.
Kalub trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Kalub gets to his feet. Silva looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Silva darts in trying to clinch
and Kalub counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard.
Silva controls Kalub momentarily but Kalub frees himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kalub trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Silva is wriggling around but Kalub manages to pass to half guard.
Silva is looking to control Kalub's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Silva makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Kalub looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kalub is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kalub has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Silva defend it? Kalub steps over the head and cranks it - Silva is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kalub!
