Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adam Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Junior Dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Miller manages to avoid it.
Miller drives through with a takedown into guard.
Miller has gone for a leg lock! Dos Santos slips out almost immediately though and dives into Miller's guard.
Miller pulls Dos Santos in close to his closed guard and prevents Dos Santos from doing any damage or advancing position.
Miller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dos Santos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Miller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dos Santos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dos Santos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Miller has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dos Santos has managed to get both his arms back between Miller's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Miller wants to stand but Dos Santos is controlling the position.
Miller is trying to keep Dos Santos in close.
Miller looking for a triangle here. Dos Santos is fighting it but it looks tight! Miller pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Dos Santos is tapping out - this one is all over!
