The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lepdev's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lepdev duly obliges.

It looks like Ze Neto has been cut.
Lepdev throws a right hand that Neto ducks under and follows up with a left that Neto also avoids with ease.

Lepdev has managed to clinch.

Lepdev breaks from the clinch.
Lepdev throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Neto sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Neto misses with a takedown attempt
and Lepdev counters with a straight right hand.

Lepdev gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Neto prevents Lepdev from getting back to his feet.

Neto has gone for a leg lock! Lepdev slips out almost immediately though and dives into Neto's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lepdev tries to free his leg and advance position but Neto is retaining full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neto shoots and misses
and Lepdev counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Neto shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lepdev defends it nicely.
Vlad Lepdev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ze Neto.
Lepdev tries to bum rush Neto with a series of wild strikes but Neto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lepdev throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lepdev is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Lepdev looks to land a combination but Neto avoids it well.

Lepdev Throws a clean left jab. Lepdev Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Neto's chin! Neto crumbles to the ground and Lepdev follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Lepdev!
