Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hazmat Unit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viktor Kafka!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kafka fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kafka lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Hazmat Unit has been cut.
Unit keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Unit with a poor takedown
and Kafka moves into the clinch.
Kafka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Unit shoots in looking for a takedown. Kafka tries to sprawl out of it but Unit keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kafka manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kafka lands a big right hand that sends Unit crashing to the mat! Kafka stays standing though and waves Unit back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A slow jab from Kafka misses its intended target.
Unit on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kafka scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kafka punishes Unit's body with a nice straight punch.
Unit is breathing heavily.
Kafka digs a good body shot into Unit's ribs.
An inside leg kick lands from Kafka.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kafka sends Unit crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kafka is motioning to the referee to let Unit up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Kafka scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kafka, right into the meat.
Kafka instigates a clinch.
Kafka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Viktor Kafka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kafka cracks Unit with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kafka has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Unit to stand back up!
Unit is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kafka lands a nice shot to the body.
Oh Unit is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kafka feints a jab and as Unit dips his head, Kafka unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Unit right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Unit falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Kafka smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Viktor Kafka!
