Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uriel Verrus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Oliphant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior Oliphant told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliphant's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Oliphant duly obliges.

It looks like Uriel Verrus has been cut.

Oliphant really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Verrus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Verrus is looking for a triangle but Oliphant pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oliphant shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Verrus manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Oliphant is sitting in close to Verrus's body. Verrus has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Oliphant is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Oliphant is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Verrus.
