Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ali Souleymane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Scofield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Scofield's choice of entrance music: Ballad of Worms. Michael Scofield is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Scofield!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Scofield is defended easily by Souleymane.

and Souleymane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Souleymane connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Horrible takedown by Scofield or perhaps it was just good defense by Souleymane which made him look bad.

Scofield closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Souleymane to the mat! Souleymane manages to get full guard.

Souleymane got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scofield has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Souleymane has managed to get both his arms back between Scofield's legs - danger averted.

Souleymane lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Scofield fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Scofield shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Souleymane but Souleymane pushes him off and we're back to square one.
