Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lasair Ceasaigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Sisk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Sisk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lasair Ceasaigh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Sisk! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ceasaigh scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sisk in his tracks. Ceasaigh ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Sisk fails with an attempt to clinch.
A nice combination there by Ceasaigh.
Sisk slips a jab and a cross from Ceasaigh.
Ceasaigh lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sisk backs up against the cage.
Sisk throws a head kick but Ceasaigh moves out of range.
Ceasaigh keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ceasaigh throws a hook to the side of Sisk's head but Sisk sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sisk drops his hands momentarily and Ceasaigh takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Ceasaigh shoots in looking for a takedown. Sisk tries to sprawl out of it but Ceasaigh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sisk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sisk goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Sisk fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sisk shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Ceasaigh wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Sisk swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ceasaigh counters with a left and a right that stings Sisk.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ceasaigh keeps the fight on the outside. Ceasaigh ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Sisk is looking to clinch but Ceasaigh is avoiding it.
Ceasaigh scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Ceasaigh fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sisk shoots in but Ceasaigh avoids the takedown attempt easily. Sisk ducks right into an uppercut from Ceasaigh. Sisk takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Sisk takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ceasaigh tries to bum rush Sisk with a series of wild strikes but Sisk uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sisk. Ceasaigh works Sisk's body with a nice hook. Lasair Ceasaigh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ceasaigh tries to keep at a distance but Sisk has taken the fight into the clinch. Sisk is trying to trip Ceasaigh. He has hold of a leg but Ceasaigh is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sisk persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Sisk looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ceasaigh looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Sisk makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ceasaigh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sisk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ceasaigh is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sisk keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ceasaigh's head. Sisk working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sisk tries to free his leg and advance position but Ceasaigh is retaining full guard. Sisk is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ceasaigh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sisk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ceasaigh throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Sisk drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ceasaigh looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ceasaigh looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ceasaigh!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ceasaigh wants to control but Sisk is keeping him busy. Ceasaigh remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Ceasaigh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sisk keeps working. Sisk is trying to improve his position. Ceasaigh landing strikes. Sisk is looking to regain half guard here but Ceasaigh keeps moving and retains side control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ceasaigh scores with a jab to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ceasaigh circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sisk rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ceasaigh counters with a one-two to the body. Ceasaigh thuds a left hand into Sisk's body. Sisk walks into a stiff left hand from Ceasaigh. Ceasaigh scores with a nice right hand.

Ceasaigh lands an overhand right. Sisk tries to clinch there but Ceasaigh circles away.
Ceasaigh is working the combinations to good effect here. Ceasaigh connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sisk's hands. Ceasaigh scores with a decent looking hook. Sisk tries to clinch up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sisk fails in his attempt to clinch. Ceasaigh changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Ceasaigh throws a combination that misses and Sisk counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ceasaigh! Ceasaigh regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sisk gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Sisk moves into the clinch. Ceasaigh tries for a takedown. No joy.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ceasaigh is working for takedown but Sisk is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lasair Ceasaigh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sisk breaks from the clinch.

Sisk has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. No luck for Sisk with that takedown attempt. A combination from Ceasaigh does no damage. Ceasaigh moves into range and connects with a jab. Horrible takedown by Sisk or perhaps it was just good defense by Ceasaigh which made him look bad. Sisk on the wrong end of a nice hook. Ceasaigh lands with a shot to the body. Sisk tries to clinch but Ceasaigh moves away and Ceasaigh counters with a three punch combo that has Sisk backing up. Sisk nods at Ceasaigh to acknowledge the strikes. Ceasaigh ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ceasaigh swats away the attempt to clinch by Sisk. Sisk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ceasaigh looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ceasaigh manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Lasair Ceasaigh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sisk is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Ceasaigh blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sisk. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ceasaigh makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ceasaigh. Sisk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Sisk pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ceasaigh is keeping the position for now. Sisk missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Sisk sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ceasaigh's guard. Sisk is looking to advance position but Ceasaigh won't allow it. Sisk thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ceasaigh's head. Ceasaigh won't allow Sisk to pass to mount. Sisk throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ceasaigh throws a good cross that connects.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sisk ducks under a wild hook from Ceasaigh. Sisk uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ceasaigh. Sisk tries to clinch up and Ceasaigh counters with a straight right hand. Sisk pushes Ceasaigh up against the cage in a clinch. Ceasaigh fails to pull guard.
Ceasaigh is working for takedown but Sisk is calmly controlling the position for now. Sisk jumps guard and drags Ceasaigh to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Sisk wants to sweep but no luck. Sisk throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Sisk will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Sisk had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ceasaigh is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sisk Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ceasaigh's back instead. Sisk working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Ceasaigh turns into Sisk and is now in his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ceasaigh is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sisk throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sisk is on top in guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lasair Ceasaigh will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Sisk closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Ceasaigh darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Ceasaigh fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sisk tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Ceasaigh counter with a right hand. Sisk fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ceasaigh, pushing him back against the cage. Sisk is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ceasaigh can't fight it off and eventually Sisk manages to take the fight to the floor. Ceasaigh looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ceasaigh is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ceasaigh is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sisk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ceasaigh swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ceasaigh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sisk manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ceasaigh slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sisk tries to improve position but can't. Ceasaigh looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ceasaigh swings around for an armbar but Sisk sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ceasaigh's guard. Ceasaigh has his feet on Sisk's thighs here. He's pushed Sisk off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Sisk screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
