The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Del Mar.
Del Mar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Del Mar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Del Mar scores with a kick to the midsection.
Del Mar lands a big head kick that sends Benjamin tumbling to the mat! Del Mar takes a step backwards and waves Benjamin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like James Benjamin has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
