Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kolton Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre St George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kolton Blade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pierre St George!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blade has his takedown stuffed
and St George counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Blade shoots in and bounces St George off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Blade is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Blade's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kolton Blade.

St George closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Blade wants to get back to his feet.

St George lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

St George throws a strike but Blade rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Blade has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Blade seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down St George for as long as he can get away with.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if St George can do anything to dispel that myth.

We're going to have a standup here because Kolton Blade wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

and Blade counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Blade.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

St George has his takedown stuffed

and Blade counters by moving into the clinch.

Blade turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Blade manages to end up in side control.
Blade is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

St George defending against the ground and pound.
St George is trying to escape the position but Blade is controlling the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Kolton Blade wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Blade closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming St George to the mat! St George manages to get full guard.
Blade is stalling in the full guard.
Blade sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed St George's guard.

St George holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Blade tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Blade, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
