Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stekelanburg Magamedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Martelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stekelanburg Magamedov!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafael Martelli!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martelli closes the distance and clinches.
Magamedov gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Martelli.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Magamedov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Martelli misses with a takedown
and Magamedov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Martelli keeps the fight on the outside.
Magamedov throws a sloppy head kick
and Martelli counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Stekelanburg Magamedov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Martelli.

Martelli tries to pull guard but Magamedov won't allow it.
Martelli's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Martelli doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Magamedov counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Magamedov.
Martelli has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Magamedov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
A frustrated look appears on Martelli's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Magamedov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Martelli feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Magamedov's calf.
Martelli moves in looking to clinch but Magamedov pushes him off.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Magamedov.
Magamedov looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Magamedov decides to stand back up.
Magamedov takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Martelli shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Magamedov counters with a single leg into guard. Martelli didn't expect that.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Magamedov stands and steps away. Martelli gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Magamedov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Martelli looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Magamedov decides to take the fight back to the feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magamedov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Martelli wants to control from the top but Magamedov keeps moving.
Magamedov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Martelli stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Magamedov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rafael Martelli has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Martelli connects with a body shot.
Martelli has Magamedov up against the cage in a clinch.
Martelli has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Magamedov uses from the top position.
Martelli bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Magamedov's guard.

Martelli scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Martelli stands up over Magamedov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Magamedov tries to land a sweep but no joy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Stekelanburg Magamedov will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Martelli connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Martelli gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Magamedov to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Stekelanburg Magamedov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Martelli wants to sweep here but Magamedov controlling him for the moment.

Martelli throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Martelli throws a nice elbow from the bottom.
Martelli can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Magamedov controls the pace.
Martelli is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Magamedov frees his head nicely. Oh but Martelli has switched to an armbar! Magamedov is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
