Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Le Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Kalashnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le Banner's entrance music is Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler. A fine choice. Vlad Kalashnikov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Le Banner defending well as Kalashnikov loads up on a big left hand. Le Banner getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Kalashnikov slaps away a takedown attempt from Le Banner, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kalashnikov throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Le Banner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kalashnikov doesn't manage to clinch there - Le Banner circles away.

Kalashnikov tries to clinch up but Le Banner circles away and keeps his distance. Le Banner lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

You get the feeling that Kalashnikov really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Le Banner gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Le Banner tries to keep at a distance but Kalashnikov has taken the fight into the clinch. Kalashnikov lands a left hand.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kalashnikov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kalashnikov stalls. Kalashnikov gets through Le Banner's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vlad Kalashnikov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jerome Le Banner's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kalashnikov just misses with a elbow thrown towards Le Banner's brow. Jerome Le Banner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The fight stays on the outside here - Kalashnikov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Le Banner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kalashnikov sprawls well. Kalashnikov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Le Banner gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerome Le Banner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Le Banner lands with a hook. Kalashnikov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Le Banner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that's the end of the fight! Vlad Kalashnikov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kalashnikov winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
