Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Herbie Hide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Tepes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hide's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Taste of ink -The Used. Vlad Tepes has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Herbie Hide's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vlad Tepes!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hide scores a takedown into full mount!
Tepes regains half guard.
Hide trying to control from half guard but Tepes is working away.
Tepes is trying to maintain the position but Hide is very close to passing his half guard.
Hide is trying to control the action in half guard but Tepes is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hide tries to pass to full mount but Tepes defends it.
Hide looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Tepes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hide wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Hide wants to control but Tepes is keeping him busy.
Tepes is doing well to control the position and prevent Hide from advancing to side control.

Tepes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hide manages to get himself to full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Herbie Hide will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hide stuffs the takedown attempt from Tepes. Tepes gets slowly back to his feet.
Tepes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tepes wants it to stay on the feet.
Hide takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Tepes wants to clinch up but Hide keeps it at a distance.
Hide swats away the attempt to clinch by Tepes.

and Hide counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tepes's guard now.

That was a close second round but I would say that Herbie Hide will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Herbie Hide.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hide, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
