Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jian Lieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leyeyasu Tokugawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lieu comes to the cage accompanied by "Da Rockwilder" by Method Man and Redman. Leyeyasu Tokugawa is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jian Lieu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leyeyasu Tokugawa! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lieu throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tokugawa counters with a stiff right hand. Lieu digs a good body shot into Tokugawa's ribs. Lieu looks to score with a jab to the body but Tokugawa is just out of range. Lieu misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling Tokugawa to counter with a crisp jab. Lieu jabs Tokugawa right on the nose. Tokugawa blinks but takes it well. Tokugawa blocks a low kick nicely. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tokugawa. Tokugawa fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lieu looks to land a left hand but Tokugawa moved out of range nicely. Tokugawa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lieu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lieu regains half guard, as Tokugawa was trying to land strikes. Lieu tries to kick Tokugawa off but Tokugawa keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Tokugawa not landing any meaningful shots this time. Lieu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tokugawa is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tokugawa looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lieu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Tokugawa not landing any meaningful shots this time. Tokugawa thows a huge punch but Lieu dodges it nicely.
Tokugawa is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lieu is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tokugawa passes easily into side control. Nice work. Tokugawa tries to move into full mount but can't pass Lieu's legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tokugawa has knee on belly and moves into mount. Tokugawa scoring with strikes but Lieu is staying in there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tokugawa postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lieu looks a forlorn figure.
Lieu is rocked!
It looks like Jian Lieu has been cut. Tokugawa breaks from Lieu's wrist control and lands an elbow. Oh Lieu is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Tokugawa misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Lieu seems to have got his legs back now. Tokugawa thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tokugawa swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lieu is now in Tokugawa's guard. A big mistake from Tokugawa there, giving up the dominant position! Tokugawa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leyeyasu Tokugawa dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jian Lieu's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lieu lands the left hand. Lieu avoids the body shot from Tokugawa.
Tokugawa fails with the takedown and Lieu counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Lieu throws a lazy uppercut
and Tokugawa counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lieu! Tokugawa trying to control but Lieu is having none of it. Tokugawa jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lieu is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lieu and Tokugawa has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lieu is trying to control Tokugawa's posture but Tokugawa avoids it. An elbow from Tokugawa crashes against the mat.
Lieu tries to bench press Tokugawa off him but Tokugawa keeps the position. Leyeyasu Tokugawa has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lieu is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Lieu trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Tokugawa throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Lieu is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tokugawa misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Tokugawa throws an elbow but Lieu slips to the side and avoids it well. Lieu parries the strikes from Tokugawa easily there. Tokugawa is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lieu to escape.
Tokugawa misses with the ground and pound. Tokugawa lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lieu down.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tokugawa is putting a hurting on Lieu here, landing some big shots from side control. Tokugawa wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lieu, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tokugawa goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lieu rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Tokugawa's guard! Nice work there by Lieu! Lieu has gone for a leg lock! Tokugawa slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lieu's guard. Lieu has momentary wrist control but Tokugawa slips an elbow through the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leyeyasu Tokugawa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jian Lieu's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

and Tokugawa counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Tokugawa missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Tokugawa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tokugawa is looking for a kimura here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tokugawa drops an elbow to the side of Lieu's head. Tokugawa not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lieu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tokugawa is working away from the top position though. Lieu blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tokugawa.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tokugawa looks to land a strike but Lieu avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Tokugawa looking to sit in guard and control but Lieu gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Lieu has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Lieu wants to control from the top but Tokugawa keeps moving. Tokugawa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tokugawa seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tokugawa missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Tokugawa stops Lieu from getting back to his feet.

No, Lieu has managed to free his arm - good work. Tokugawa thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lieu's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lieu tries to get to full guard but Tokugawa has control of the leg. Tokugawa takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Tokugawa lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Jian Lieu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tokugawa throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
And that's the end of the fight! Leyeyasu Tokugawa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Tokugawa winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
