Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Saburo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Chinatown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chinatown has chosen Cocaine in my brain - Dillinger as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 46 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Saburo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Charlie Chinatown!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saburo tries for a takedown but Chinatown circles away easily
and Saburo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Saburo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Chinatown closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Saburo did well to prevent Chinatown getting side control.
Saburo wants to improve his position but Chinatown is controlling well.
Chinatown tries to pass to full mount but Saburo defends it.
Chinatown is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Charlie Chinatown was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Chinatown changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Saburo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Chinatown is trying to trip Saburo. He has hold of a leg but Saburo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Chinatown persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Chinatown is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chinatown remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Chinatown's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Chinatown is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Saburo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Charlie Chinatown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Chinatown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
