Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanamichi Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castro comes to the cage accompanied by "Sunshowers". Hanzo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sarah Brightman - Fleurs du Mal. Hanamichi Hanzo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcus Castro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hanamichi Hanzo! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good leg kick by Hanzo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hanzo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Castro. Hanzo throws the kick towards the body but Castro avoids it. Hanzo moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Castro is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Castro crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hanzo - the referee stops the clock and Castro gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hanzo. Castro manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Hanzo looks to score with a jab to the body but Castro is just out of range. Hanzo fakes the leg kick and cracks Castro in the body. Hanzo throws a head kick that misses. Hanamichi Hanzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanzo lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Hanzo lands a head kick that stumbles Castro and the fighters go to the mat.
Castro is rocked!
It looks like Marcus Castro has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanzo wanted to stand there but Castro had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hanzo is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hanzo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Castro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hanamichi Hanzo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Castro with a lazy takedown attempt and Hanzo counters with a head kick that drops Castro! Oh Castro is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hanzo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Castro is proving hard to escape from. Castro seems to have got his legs back now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Castro is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hanzo is aware though and is defending well. Hanzo wanted to stand there but Castro had control of the position. Hanzo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Castro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hanzo has managed to get both his arms back between Castro's legs - danger averted. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hanzo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hanamichi Hanzo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Marcus Castro's cut. That's time! Castro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hanzo - that will leave a mark!
Hanzo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Hanamichi Hanzo seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hanzo lands with a kick to the ribs.
The fighters circle, before Hanzo throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Castro's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Hanzo lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Hanamichi Hanzo!
