Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Virgil Mays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slam Randelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mays might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wretches & Kings. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mays connects with a body shot.
Randelson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Mays has closed the distance and engaged Randelson in a clinch.
Mays scores with a nice hook to the head.
Randelson goes for a takedown attempt but Mays pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Virgil Mays seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mays closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Randelson tries to pull guard but Mays won't allow it.

Randelson is stalling here. Mays is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Randelson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mays has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
