Roland has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Roland manages to reverse the position and now he's in Gabe's guard. Nice work there by Roland.
Gabe should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Gabe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gabe had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Roland is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gabe Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Roland's back instead.
Gabe somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Gabe working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Roland is doing well to defend. Gabe seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Roland is forced to tap and this one is over!
