Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter Sabota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Sabota could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to George Suzuki's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Suzuki! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suzuki misses with a takedown attempt and Sabota counters with a stiff right hand. Suzuki gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Suzuki trying to control the position.
Sabota looking to pass the guard. Sabota has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sabota accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sabota tries to free his leg and advance position but Suzuki is retaining full guard. Sabota is working hard here to advance position. Suzuki is looking to stand up but Sabota isn't so interested in that idea. Sabota connects with a couple of short punches. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sabota accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sabota postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Suzuki preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Suzuki trying to keep a closed guard but Sabota is proving a slippery customer.
Suzuki manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Suzuki has hold of Sabota's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sabota manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Suzuki working for a guillotine from mount but Sabota is in no mood to give up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Suzuki looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Suzuki looking to ground and pound but Sabota is blocking nicely. Suzuki controlling from the full mount. Suzuki throwing strikes here but Sabota is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suzuki wants to control the pace but Sabota is squirming around nicely. Suzuki looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Suzuki controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Suzuki connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Sabota is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Suzuki has taken his back! Sabota knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Suzuki on the ground. A lull in the action here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sabota wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but George Suzuki will probably get the nod. That's time! Sabota's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Suzuki tries for a takedown but Sabota circles away easily and Sabota counters with a nice double leg into side control. Suzuki won't be happy with that. Sabota tries to move into full mount but can't pass Suzuki's legs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sabota grinds an elbow into Suzuki's temple. Suzuki manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Suzuki not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Suzuki perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Suzuki is trying to control the action in half guard but Sabota is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sabota blocking the ground and pound attempt from Suzuki. Suzuki trying to control from Sabota's half guard. Sabota has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sabota wants to get back to his feet but Suzuki is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Suzuki wants to stand but Sabota has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Suzuki is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Sabota wants to stand and escape but Suzuki is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Suzuki wants to stand but Sabota is controlling his posture from full guard.
OK we're going to have a standup here. George Suzuki hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Sabota shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Suzuki manages to regain half guard. Good work. Suzuki moves into full guard.
Suzuki is looking for a triangle but Sabota pushes his legs off easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Suzuki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sabota doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sabota manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Suzuki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Suzuki is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sabota has managed to free his arm - good work. George Suzuki has got the better of the ground game so far. Sabota avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Suzuki.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suzuki thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sabota's head. Suzuki uses his free foot to push down on Sabota's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sabota. Suzuki trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but George Suzuki will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Sabota looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Sabota sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Suzuki defending well though. Sabota scoring with strikes to the body and head. Suzuki is trying to control but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round. Suzuki throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

He's being very persistent here but Suzuki manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Suzuki wants to control from the top but Sabota keeps moving. Suzuki stops Sabota from standing up. Sabota on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sabota tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sabota keeping moving, preventing Suzuki from controlling successfully.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. George Suzuki wasn't active enough on the ground. Sabota dives in and grabs Suzuki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Suzuki pushes down on Sabota's head and hops out. Sabota closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Suzuki trying to hold on to Sabota's head to control him but Sabota postures up.
Suzuki gets full guard. Suzuki manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Suzuki content just to control the position here. Suzuki thowing shots but they're missing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Suzuki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sabota is looking to escape. Suzuki raining down shots from the mount! Peter Sabota has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Suzuki trying to control but Sabota is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to George Suzuki. I've got Suzuki winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
