The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko wants to clinch
and Lahti counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lahti misses with a lunging right hand
and Emelianenko counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Lahti gets full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lahti is looking to sweep but instead, Emelianenko has passed into half guard.
Lahti is trying to get back to full guard.
Lahti scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Emelianenko manages to mount him!
Lahti is working to get back to half guard.

Lahti regains half guard.
Lahti pushes Emelianenko off but Emelianenko dives into side control.
Lahti sneaks back into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lahti kicks Emelianenko off and gets back to his feet.
Lahti throws a hook to the side of Emelianenko 's head but Emelianenko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A swing and a miss from Lahti.
Lahti throws an off balance right hand
and Emelianenko counters with a single leg into guard. Lahti didn't expect that.

Lahti working for a triangle but Emelianenko defends it easily.
Lahti is looking for a triangle but Emelianenko pushes his legs off easily.
Lahti is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Emelianenko chips away with some ground and pound.
Lahti is looking to stand up but Emelianenko isn't so interested in that idea.

Lahti looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Emelianenko puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Lahti gets full guard.
Emelianenko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lahti is keeping the position for now.
Emelianenko drops back looking for a leg! Lahti is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lahti manages to kick Emelianenko off! Emelianenko jumps back into Lahti's guard.
Lahti is looking for a triangle but Emelianenko pushes his legs off easily.
Lahti wants to stand up but Emelianenko is controlling him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Emelianenko thows a big elbow that misses.
Emelianenko stops Lahti from standing up.
Lahti working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Emelianenko has passed into half guard!
Emelianenko seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Lahti tries to roll over but Emelianenko keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Emelianenko shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lahti defends it nicely.

and Emelianenko counters with a shoot takedown. Lahti fights it but they end up in guard.
Lahti looking for a triangle here. Emelianenko is fighting it but it looks tight! Lahti pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Emelianenko is tapping out - this one is all over!
