The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breznev connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Shigeno doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Breznev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Shigeno with a lazy takedown attempt
and Breznev counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Breznev lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Shigeno walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Breznev swings for the body but Shigeno moves out of range.
Shigeno avoids the body shot from Breznev.
Shigeno takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Shigeno doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Breznev counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Dmitry Breznev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Honda Shigeno.
Shigeno looks gassed!
Shigeno takes a jab right on the kisser.
Breznev lands a body shot.
Breznev lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Shigeno can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Breznev and Shigeno drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Breznev.
