Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dino tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Smith looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Dino gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dino is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Dino gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Dino gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Dino apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Smith moves out of range of the body kick.
Dino tries to clinch but Smith is having none of it.

Jack Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xian Dino.

and Dino counters with a single leg into guard. Smith didn't expect that.

Dino throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Smith tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dino is in Smith's guard.

Dino changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smith looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Let's hope that Dino has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Xian Dino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
