Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barcuha Zver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivek Asknberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zver comes to the cage accompanied by Ya Zverj Borcuha. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Barcuha Zver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivek Asknberg! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asknberg tries for a takedown but Zver circles away easily and Zver counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Asknberg misses with a straight right. Asknberg tries to clinch but Zver moves away and Zver counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Ivek Asknberg has been cut. Zver rushes Asknberg and presses him up against the cage. Asknberg looking for a takedown. Zver has clasped his hands together around Asknberg's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Asknberg is looking to regain half guard here but Zver keeps moving and retains side control. Asknberg struggling a bit here. Asknberg on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Asknberg tries to bench press Zver off him but Zver keeps the position. Zver lands an elbow. This has been an exciting period of action! Asknberg takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Zver wants to lay and pray for a moment but Asknberg keeps working. Asknberg is working to avoid the ground and pound but Zver connects with a decent elbow. Asknberg tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Asknberg throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Asknberg takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Asknberg tries to improve position but can't. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Zver in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Zver tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Zver has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Zver working the ground and pound. Zver looks up at the clock and then as Asknberg takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Zver smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Asknberg is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Zver working the body and head with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Asknberg wants to control but Zver postures up. Zver knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Asknberg on the ground. Asknberg is looking to reverse the position. Zver scoring with punches from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Zver tries for a kimura but Asknberg is defending well. Zver blocks the strikes from Asknberg.
Zver trying to control the action but Asknberg is working from the bottom. Asknberg is trying to control Zver's posture but Zver avoids it. Zver in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Zver lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zver is looking to take a break and control but Asknberg is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Zver working the ground and pound. Asknberg is trying to improve his position. Asknberg takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Zver in side control lands a decent elbow. Zver trying to control the position but Asknberg is working away. Zver tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Asknberg can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zver scores with a couple of short elbows. Zver working the ground and pound.
That has opened up Ivek Asknberg's cut even more. Asknberg is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Zver is chipping away with strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Asknberg taking a bit of punishment here - Zver scoring with strikes. Zver grinds an elbow into Asknberg's temple. Zver working the body and head with strikes. Zver controls the position from side control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Zver looks up at the clock and then as Asknberg takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Zver smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Barcuha Zver dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ivek Asknberg's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Asknberg tries to clinch up and Zver counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Asknberg's guard now.
The cut above Ivek Asknberg's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Asknberg looking for a sweep. Not yet Asknberg, not yet. Zver has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Zver is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Asknberg manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Zver manages to get himself to full guard.
Asknberg drops back, looking for a kneebar! Zver looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Zver looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Zver! Zver landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Zver wants to control but Asknberg is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zver wants to take a breather but Asknberg manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Zver. Asknberg working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zver doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Asknberg is tightening it up a little... Zver has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Zver reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Zver taps out! nice BJJ there by Asknberg!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Ivek Asknberg!
