The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Travoltavich moves into the clinch.
Mendes goes for a takedown in the clinch but Travoltavich prevents it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Travoltavich creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Travoltavich tries to clinch up but Mendes circles away and keeps his distance.
Mendes misses with a double jab
and Travoltavich counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Travoltavich uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A low kick from Mendes is predictable there
and Mendes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Oh Mendes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mendes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Travoltavich counters by moving into the clinch.
Mendes seems to have got his legs back now.
Mendes takes an elbow to the temple.
Travoltavich makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A short left from Travoltavich.
Travoltavich creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Mendes! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Travoltavich.
