Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dupree Owens!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens fails to land the takedown.
Kamei misses with a left hand
and Owens counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Owens just misses with a punch to the body.
Owens tries a low kick but Kamei avoids it.
Owens with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kamei cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Owens throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kamei.
Owens misses with a low kick.
Kamei jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Owens slips under a jab from Kamei.
Owens looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Owens misses with a body shot.
Horrible takedown by Owens or perhaps it was just good defense by Kamei which made him look bad.
Koichi Kamei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dupree Owens.

Kamei throws a leg kick but Owens checks it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kamei lands with a thumping leg kick.

and Kamei counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Kamei counters with a good low kick that Owens was not able to check.
Kamei misses with a two punch combination.
Owens shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kamei defends it nicely.

Kamei swings for the body but Owens moves out of range.

Kamei tries for a takedown but Owens sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kamei ducks under a wild hook from Owens.

Owens bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kamei's head backwards.
A slow jab from Kamei misses its intended target.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Owens is defended easily by Kamei.
Kamei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Koichi Kamei dominated that round.

A punch combination from Kamei misses.
Owens tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kamei manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Owens misses with a hook.
Owens has a takedown stuffed.
Kamei keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kamei throws a hook but Owens blocks it.

Owens lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Kamei loads up on a big right hand but Owens slips the punch.

Kamei rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Owens counters with a straight that turns Kamei's legs to rubber! Owens pushes forward with more strikes and Kamei goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
