Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Skywalker! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Keast Kann! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kann throws a jab when Skywalker was well out of range. Skywalker throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kann. Skywalker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kann.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Skywalker lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kann has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kann and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Skywalker throws a push kick but Kann slaps the foot to one side. Skywalker throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Some wild striking there from Kann.
Kann swings for the body but Skywalker moves out of range.
Skywalker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kann swats him away and circles back towards the center. Skywalker sizes up Kann with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Luke Skywalker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kann scores with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Skywalker is looking to clinch. Kann lands an overhand right. Skywalker throws the kick towards the body but Kann avoids it. Skywalker misses with a jab to the body
and Kann counters with a straight right hand. Kann blocks a leg kick. Skywalker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kann manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skywalker's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kann under the eye. Kann throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Skywalker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Skywalker throws out a loose jab but Kann uses good head movement to avoid it. Luke Skywalker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kann lands an overhand right. Kann tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Skywalker was well out of range. Poor timing from Kann. Skywalker misses with a shot to the body and Kann counters with a lovely shot to the body. Skywalker throws a jab but it's blocked by Kann. Skywalker throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kann counters with a lovely shot to the body. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Skywalker lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? Kann is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Skywalker rather than just go for the knockout. Skywalker misses with a right hand letting Kann counter with a right hand. Kann throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Skywalker misses the body punch and Kann counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Skywalker cracks Kann with an open hand slap. Kann lands a jab to Skywalker's midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skywalker finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Skywalker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Skywalker looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Skywalker looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Skywalker throws a poor cross that misses
and Kann counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kann missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kann not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kann wants to free his trapped foot but Skywalker is holding on for dear life with his legs. Kann working Skywalker over with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kann is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kann is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Skywalker looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kann is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Skywalker has managed to free his arm - good work. Skywalker tries to roll over but Kann keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keast Kann dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kann on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kann bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kann is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Skywalker throws a push kick but Kann slaps the foot to one side. Kann swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kann goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Skywalker misses with a left hand and Kann counters with a stiff right hand. Skywalker misses with an uppercut
and Kann counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kann shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kann is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Skywalker keeping full guard, as Kann tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Skywalker wants to stand but Kann is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Skywalker can't keep his opponent in guard - Kann advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Kann sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Skywalker defending well though. Skywalker holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Kann tries to pass the half guard into mount. Skywalker knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kann moves nicely into side control. Kann in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Skywalker is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Keast Kann! Keast Kann is the new featherweight champion!
