Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Some Days (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Some Days looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Some Days!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick James!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Days throws a right and a left that both miss.
Days connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between James's hands.
A punch combination from Days misses.
Days darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Days fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
James has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Days finds it's way round the side to connect with James's head.

James looking to score a takedown here. Days is defending well but James drives through and ends up in Days's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
James slips nicely into half guard.
Days is not content to let James control the position.
James with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
James has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
James trying to control but he's not successful this time.

James is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Days can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's one minute gone in the round.

James swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
