7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hasimir Fenring! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Santi! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fenring looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Santi ducks right into an uppercut from Fenring. Santi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Fenring! Fenring really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. You get the feeling that Fenring really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Santi is looking to work his way around to Fenring's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Poor strikes thrown by Santi there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Santi looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Santi looking to secure an arm triangle but Fenring defends it well. Santi with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Fenring's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Santi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Santi trying to control but Fenring is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fenring wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santi thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Fenring is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Santi punching from mount but Fenring doing a good job of avoiding damage. Fenring squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Santi thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Fenring defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Santi. Santi controlling the position easily from mount. Fenring trying desperately to get to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Santi working for a guillotine from mount but Fenring is in no mood to give up. Santi trying to control but he's not successful this time. You get the feeling that Fenring really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Santi jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fenring manages to avoid the submission attempt. Santi has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Fenring! Fenring blocking the ground and pound. Fenring is trying to stand. Santi working the ground and pound effectively.
Santi is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Fenring is forced to tap! Great finish!
