Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nemean Athos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royal Tenenbaum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Athos comes to the cage accompanied by Thundercats. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Athos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Athos lands a nice looking body kick.
Tenenbaum avoids the head kick by Athos.
Athos scores with a nice body kick.
Athos tries to land a body kick
and Tenenbaum counters with a nice uppercut.
Nice combo by Athos! Oh, that's hurt him - Tenenbaum falls to the canvas and Athos follows him into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Athos grinds an elbow into Tenenbaum's temple.

Athos lands a strong strike to the head of Tenenbaum. That's dazed him! Athos looking to finish here. Tenenbaum is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Athos lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
