The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penniman clinches up with Hakala and pushes him back against the cage.
Penniman lands a hook that snaps the head of Hakala backwards.
Hakala has Penniman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Penniman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

It looks like Makke Hakala has been cut.
Penniman lands a nice uppercut.
Penniman scores with a nice hook to the head.
Penniman gets underhooks to prevent Hakala's takedown attempt.
Penniman works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Hakala looks gassed!
Penniman lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Penniman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Penniman bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hakala's head.
Penniman scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Penniman lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice inside leg kick there by Penniman. That's going to slow Hakala down.
Hakala ducks right into an uppercut from Penniman.
Penniman feints a jab promting Hakala to slip. Penniman then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hakala slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

That has opened up Makke Hakala's cut even more.
Penniman scores with a three punch combo!

Hakala is rocked!

Penniman drops Hakala with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hakala looks back up at him and smiles so Penniman waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Hakala is still on wobbly legs! Can Penniman finish him?
A nice leg kick lands there from Penniman.
Hakala seems to have recovered his senses.

Penniman drops Hakala with a beautiful combination! Hakala stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Penniman is looking for the KO!

The cut above Makke Hakala's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
