Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Plant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Plant has chosen Au innebunit salcamii as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plant doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dixon counters with a low kick, right behind Plant 's knee.
A telegraphed right hand from Dixon misses the target.
Plant uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dixon.
A clash of legs there as Plant blocks the low kick.
Plant takes one to the chin there.
Dixon tries to score with a low kick but Plant moves his leg out of the way.

Plant drives through with a takedown into Dixon's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Plant throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dixon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dixon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Plant controls the pace.
