Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Cera!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darius misses with a hook.
Darius throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Cera connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Darius's hands.
Cera misses with a hook
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Cera misses with an uppercut
and Darius counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
No joy there for Darius, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Darius's corner calls for a 1-2. Darius obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Darius rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cera moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cera throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Darius counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Cera scores with a crisp jab that stopped Darius in his tracks.
Darius lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Darius staying out of range there.
Cera misses with a shot to the body
and Darius counters with a nice uppercut.
Cera is rocked!
Darius finds Cera's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Cera flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Darius lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Cera will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Braxton Darius!
