The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid throws a leg kick but Jensen sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Jensen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Kid counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jensen's guard now.

Jensen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kid misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jensen steps into range and cracks Kid with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Kid flops backwards and Jensen dives into his guard looking to finish!

Kid is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jensen loads up on a big left hand. Kid felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Jensen looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Kid can't hide his disappointment, as Jensen celebrates the victory.
