Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Haku Men! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Men. Santos throws a series of punches but Men moves out of range. A kick lands to the mid section there for Men. Men throws a lazy head kick and Santos counters with a left and a right that stings Men. Santos throws a head kick that misses and Men counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Santos is lucky that one didn't land flush. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Men throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Men tries to clinch and Santos makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Men wants to clinch and Santos makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Jake Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Men throws a sloppy head kick and Santos counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Men moves in looking to clinch but Santos pushes him off. Santos misses with a kick to the body.

Santos tries to land a body kick and Men counters with a big head kick but Santos shrugs it off. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Santos throws a right and a left that both miss. Men ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Santos is predictable there and Men counters with a flying knee. Nice. Santos throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Santos throws a lazy head kick and Men counters with a head kick that drops Santos - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!
Santos is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Men is working for a kimura but Santos is defending it quite comfortably.
Men wants to free his trapped foot but Santos is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Men looking for a submission but Santos manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Santos is looking to stand up but Men isn't so interested in that idea. Men stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Santos swivels though and keeps the full guard. Santos is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Santos goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Men throws a sloppy head kick and Santos moves out of range easily. Santos blocks a head kick by Men.
Men wants to clinch but Santos slips to the side and Santos counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A head kick by Men misses and Santos counters with a two punch combo. A head kick by Men misses and Santos finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Santos closes the distance and lands a one-two. A combination from Santos does no damage. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Santos checks a leg kick. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Santos closes the distance and lands a one-two. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Haku Men showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Men has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Santos. Santos throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Santos dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Men. That did some damage! Santos misses with the combination.
Santos throws a right hand that Men ducks under and follows up with a left that Men also avoids with ease. Men takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Men takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Men throws a lazy head kick and Santos counters with a head kick. Men ducks under a wild hook from Santos. Men wants to clinch and Santos counters with a two punch combo. Men misses with the body kick and Santos counters with a three punch combo that has Men backing up. Men nods at Santos to acknowledge the strikes.
It looks like Haku Men has been cut.

Good work there by Santos. Men throws a sloppy head kick and Santos counters with a one-two to the body. Jake Santos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Santos tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Santos scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Santos swings for the body but Men moves out of range.
Haku Men is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Men tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Santos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Men wants to clinch and Santos makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Men really felt that one! Jake Santos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A head kick by Santos misses and Men counters with a nice body kick.
