Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Plumpman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rans Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Danger! High Voltage as his entrance music. Rans Gracie has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kalle Plumpman's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalle Plumpman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rans Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plumpman just misses with a punch to the body.
Plumpman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.
Plumpman jabbing away but nothing is landing.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Plumpman enables Gracie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Plumpman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Plumpman is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea.
Plumpman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Plumpman can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Gracie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Plumpman is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Plumpman has escaped and now he's on top!

Plumpman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kalle Plumpman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rans Gracie.

Kalle Plumpman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Plumpman misses with a wild body shot.
Plumpman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gracie moves out of range as Plumpman strikes.

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Plumpman won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Plumpman tries to buck Gracie off but Gracie is having none of it.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Plumpman has escaped the position, nice work there.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Plumpman tries to bench press Gracie off him but Gracie keeps the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Kalle Plumpman will probably get the nod.

Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Plumpman to score with a decent uppercut.

I wouldn't like to be where Plumpman is right now.

Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Plumpman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rans Gracie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Plumpman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
