The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson misses with a lunging right hand
and Marcinkiewicz counters with a stiff right hand.
Watson has his takedown stuffed
and Watson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like tom Watson has been cut.
Watson with a lazy takedown attempt
and Marcinkiewicz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Watson moves into the clinch.
Watson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Marcinkiewicz gets underhooks to prevent Watson's takedown attempt.
Konrad Marcinkiewicz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of tom Watson.
Marcinkiewicz breaks the clinch.
Watson closes the distance but Marcinkiewicz moves to the side
and Marcinkiewicz counters with a lovely straight right hand!

tom Watson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marcinkiewicz cracks Watson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Watson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Marcinkiewicz finish him?
Watson is rocked!
Marcinkiewicz walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Watson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Marcinkiewicz swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Watson's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
