Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Tyler DeGraaf!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeGraaf has his takedown stuffed
letting Halme counter with a right hand.
A right-left combo lands from Halme.
No joy there for Halme, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
DeGraaf avoids a punch combination nicely.
Halme keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
DeGraaf looks to clinch
and Halme counters with a left and a right that stings DeGraaf.
DeGraaf shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Halme counters with a series of strikes. DeGraaf will be more careful next time no doubt.
Allegro Halme has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler DeGraaf.

Halme escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

DeGraaf postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
DeGraaf wants to control but Halme is keeping him busy.
DeGraaf sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Halme is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Halme is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but DeGraaf has just dragged him back down to the mat.
DeGraaf cracks Halme with a big elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
DeGraaf decides to stand back up.
DeGraaf shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Halme counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Halme lands a jab-cross combination.
Halme scores with a hook to the body. DeGraaf takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Halme throws a quick head kick that skims the top of DeGraaf's head.
Halme throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by DeGraaf.
Halme moves into range and clinches up with DeGraaf.

DeGraaf wants a takedown but no success here.
Halme breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Halme will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Halme fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
DeGraaf throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Halme's waist but Halme gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing DeGraaf off to one side.
Allegro Halme seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DeGraaf looks gassed!
Halme feints a jab promting DeGraaf to slip. Halme then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. DeGraaf slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Halme tries to clinch up but DeGraaf circles away and keeps his distance.
Halme plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
DeGraaf looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
DeGraaf stands up from half guard.
Halme misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

DeGraaf closes the distance but Halme moves to the side
and Halme counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
DeGraaf has his takedown stuffed
and Halme counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for DeGraaf!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Halme with shots to the head and body - DeGraaf looks very uncomfortable down there.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Halme lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
DeGraaf is desperately trying to improve his position but Halme has a good base and remains in mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Halme misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Halme throws a series of punches but DeGraaf moves out of range.
DeGraaf circles away from the clinch attempt
and DeGraaf decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Halme's guard.

Halme manages to escape and get back to his feet.

and Halme counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now DeGraaf is on top in guard.

DeGraaf throws and elbow that misses. Halme uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in DeGraaf's guard. Nice move by Halme!

Halme takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Halme knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for DeGraaf on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

DeGraaf's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Halme connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! DeGraaf scrambles back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
DeGraaf is trying to control but can't.
Allegro Halme is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Allegro Halme just wasn't active enough.

Well Halme has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
