The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SparBJJ looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
SparBJJ is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Harmonic wants to get back to his feet.

SparBJJ is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Harmonic has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

SparBJJ is looking for a rear naked choke here but Harmonic reverses the position brilliantly into SparBJJ's guard!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
SparBJJ is working for a submission of some sort.
Harmonic is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Harmonic is working hard here to advance position.
Harmonic wants to get back to full guard but SparBJJ has passed into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tiny SparBJJ dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
SparBJJ shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Harmonic manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
SparBJJ drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Harmonic dives on top into guard.
SparBJJ working for a triangle but Harmonic defends it easily.
SparBJJ is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Harmonic manages to get to full guard.
SparBJJ stands and steps away. Harmonic gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
SparBJJ throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Harmonic tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. SparBJJ is in Harmonic's guard.
SparBJJ drops back, looking for a kneebar! Harmonic looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Harmonic looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Harmonic!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
SparBJJ defending against the ground and pound.
The strikes coming from Harmonic are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

SparBJJ is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Harmonic's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
SparBJJ wants to get back to his feet.
Harmonic passes into side control, despite SparBJJ's attempt to control the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Harmonic has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Harmonic decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
SparBJJ wants to control but Harmonic is keeping busy.
Harmonic wants to advance to full mount but SparBJJ doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Tiny SparBJJ will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
SparBJJ throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Harmonic was covering up waiting for the punch and SparBJJ finishes the takedown easily into guard.
SparBJJ is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
SparBJJ wants to pass the guard but Harmonic is keeping the position.
SparBJJ is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
SparBJJ throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

SparBJJ tries to free his leg and advance position but Harmonic is retaining full guard.
Harmonic manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. SparBJJ manages to get himself to full guard.
Harmonic in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
SparBJJ working a defensive guard but Harmonic manages to pass into side control anyway.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Harmonic is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. SparBJJ knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
SparBJJ is looking to reverse the position.

Harmonic looks up at the clock and then as SparBJJ takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Harmonic smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
SparBJJ is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Harmonic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for SparBJJ on the ground.
Harmonic wants to pass to mount but SparBJJ is defending the position.
Harmonic working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on SparBJJ's thigh. SparBJJ counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Harmonic chips away with some ground and pound.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
SparBJJ has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Harmonic is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for SparBJJ.
Phil Harmonic has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tiny SparBJJ is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Harmonic tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Harmonic has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that's the end of the fight!

Well SparBJJ has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
