Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Chiappe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Samson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Chiappe had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiappe gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Samson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Samson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Chiappe momentarily.

Samson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Chiappe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Samson to score with a decent uppercut.

and Chiappe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Chiappe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Samson counters with a huge left! Chiappe is in big trouble! He's backing up but Samson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Chiappe from any more damage. A dominating finish by Samson!
