PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason McGully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason McGully!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Boom misses.
McGully darts in trying to clinch
and Boom counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

McGully looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
McGully is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

McGully has control of Boom's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Boom regains control of the situation pretty easily.

McGully working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Boom turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips McGully off and cradles Boom's limp body as McGully celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Jason McGully!
