Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trinity Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Goat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hill comes to the cage accompanied by Alice In Chains - Rooster. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trinity Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Goat!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Goat misses with a series of wild punches.
Hill bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Goat's head.
Goat throws a leg kick that is checked
and Hill counters with a low kick, right behind Goat 's knee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goat fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Goat tries for a takedown but Hill sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hill scores with a body shot.
Goat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hill is fending him off so far but Goat persists. Nope, Hill circles away and we're back to standing.
Hill is looking to land body kicks.
Goat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Trinity Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Goat.
A low kick from Hill is predictable there

and Goat counters with a takedown into side control.

Hill tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Goat throws an elbow but Hill slips to the side and avoids it well.
Goat throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Hill tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Goat wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
I wouldn't like to be where Hill is right now.

Goat goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hill has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Goat but great work by Hill.
Goat manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Hill wants to get back to his feet.
Hill is not content to let Goat control the position.

Goat is working for a kimura but Hill is defending it quite comfortably.

Hill is looking to control Goat's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hill avoid being mounted?
Goat thows a huge punch but Hill dodges it nicely.
Hill trying to control here.
Goat is looking to advance position but Hill won't allow it.
Hill trying to control from the bottom.
Goat not landing any meaningful shots this time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Goat misses with a head shot. Hill uses the momentum to regain guard.
Goat stands and throws Hill's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Goat in side control, throwing shots but Hill defends.
Goat wants to control but Hill is keeping him busy.
Goat throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Goat trying to control the position but Hill is working away.
Goat working the ground and pound from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Billy Goat dominated that round.
That's time! Hill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Nice uppercut lands for Hill. That snapped Goat's head back.
Goat avoids a kick to the body.
Hill misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Goat.
Hill misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hill throws a leg kick that misses.

Hill fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Hill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hill throws a leg kick that is checked
and Goat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Goat fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Goat dives in and grabs Hill's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hill pushes down on Goat's head and hops out.
Hill throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Goat takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hill, as that shot connected.
Hill cracks the inside of Goat's front leg.

Hill lands a jab.
Goat shoots in for a double leg but Hill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hill looks to land a body kick but Goat moved away.
Goat checks the leg kick.
Goat fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Trinity Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Goat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hill throws a hook but Goat avoids it easily.
Trinity Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hill tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hill throws a jab but it's blocked by Goat.
Goat walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hill.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trinity Hill dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Goat misses with a few strikes there.
Goat connects with an inside leg kick.
Hill scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Hill misses with a leg kick
and Goat counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hill throws a solid leg kick but Goat takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hill.
Hill cracks Goat with a good jab.

Goat shoots in for a double leg but Hill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A low kick from Hill is predictable there
and Goat counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Hill fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Goat manages to avoid it.
Hill throws a chopping leg kick but Goat manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Hill swings for the body but Goat moves out of range.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Goat avoids the body shot from Hill.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hill. Goat does a little dance to reset his feet.
Goat checks the leg kick nicely there.
Goat moves away from the strike by Hill.
Hill avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Hill will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hill misses with a low kick.
Goat looks for a takedown but Hill sprawls well.
Billy Goat is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Goat fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hill sprawls well initially but Goat persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Goat not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goat working the head and body with strikes.
Hill wants to improve his position but Goat is controlling well.
Goat thows a huge punch but Hill dodges it nicely.

Hill tries to kick Goat off but Goat keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hill is not content to let Goat control the position.
Hill wants to get back to his feet.

Billy Goat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Goat has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
