Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayes comes to the cage accompanied by Move!. Ward has chosen Everything in its right place- Radio Head as his entrance music. Jack Hayes could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mr Ward's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Hayes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mr Ward! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ward moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Ward throws a poor cross that misses
and Hayes counters with a stiff right hand. Hayes throws a combination that misses and Ward counters by moving into the clinch. Ward turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ward manages to end up in side control. Ward works to advance to full mount. Hayes defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ward is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hayes has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ward goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hayes is on top in guard.
Ward is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hayes defends well. Hayes has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ward is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ward had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hayes defends it easily. Hayes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ward has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hayes has managed to get both his arms back between Ward's legs - danger averted. Ward working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hayes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ward is tightening it up a little... Hayes has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hayes reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hayes taps out! nice BJJ there by Ward!
