Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Beauvais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhe Christ Tirado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Beauvais! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jhe Christ Tirado! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beauvais fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tirado moves into the clinch. Tirado turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Tirado tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tirado has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Beauvais prevents Tirado from moving into mount. Tirado controlling the position from side mount. Tirado tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Beauvais being controlled for a moment. Tirado wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Beauvais, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tirado is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Beauvais will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tirado working away. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Tirado stands up. Tirado shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beauvais is trying to defend but Tirado finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Tirado is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Tirado controlling the pace. Tirado is thwarting Beauvais's attempts to control the position. Beauvais is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tirado is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Tirado controlling the action here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of James Beauvais. No luck for Beauvais with that takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tirado darts in and clinches Beauvais up against the cage. Tirado gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Beauvais regains guard.
Beauvais can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tirado controls the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jhe Christ Tirado wasn't active enough on the ground. Tirado shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tirado showed some decent athleticism there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tirado keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Beauvais trying to hold on to Tirado's head to control him but Tirado postures up.
Beauvais is breathing heavily. Tirado takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Beauvais is trying to stand up here but Tirado is controlling him well. Well, if Tirado is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jhe Christ Tirado. Tirado shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beauvais is trying to defend but Tirado finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tirado is trying to work for a kimura but Beauvais is defending well.

Tirado closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Beauvais did well to prevent Tirado getting side control. Tirado is controlling the pace.
Tirado's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jhe Christ Tirado hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Beauvais throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Beauvais throws a right and a left that Tirado avoids nicely. Tirado is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Beauvais's half guard. Tirado wants to work for an arm triangle but Beauvais is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tirado slows the pace down in half guard. Jhe Christ Tirado has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beauvais is trying to control but can't.
Tirado looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tirado is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Beauvais defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tirado is figuring out what he wants to do next. Tirado wants to pass to mount but Beauvais is defending the position. Well, if Tirado is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Oh, that's bad for Beauvais! Tirado working for a guillotine from mount but Beauvais is in no mood to give up. Tirado controlling from the full mount. Tirado avoids the attempt from Beauvais to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tirado sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Tirado really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beauvais. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Beauvais manages to regain half guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jhe Christ Tirado showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Beauvais closes the distance but Tirado moves to the side and Tirado counters with a single leg into guard. Beauvais didn't expect that. Tirado slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Tirado drops back looking for a leg! Beauvais is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Beauvais manages to kick Tirado off! Tirado jumps back into Beauvais's guard. Beauvais can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tirado controls the pace. Beauvais looking for a sweep. Not yet Beauvais, not yet. Tirado looking to pass the guard. Tirado stays in close to Beauvais's body and controls the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Tirado is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Tirado wants to work for an arm triangle but Beauvais is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Beauvais doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tirado holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Beauvais tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tirado smiles and moves away.

Tirado shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Beauvais manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tirado not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Tirado jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Tirado is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Jhe Christ Tirado comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tirado has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
