Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Pomchaiw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Song (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Song has chosen I want to be More by Paul Dateh as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tim Song will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bobby Pomchaiw! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim Song! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick from Pomchaiw lands but Song takes it in his stride. Pomchaiw tries a head kick but it misses.
Song shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pomchaiw as he avoids it easily. Song closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Pomchaiw is defending against the submission attempts here by Song.
Song is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Pomchaiw has managed to free his arm - good work. Song looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Song moves nicely into side control. Pomchaiw is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Song looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Pomchaiw wants to get back to his feet. Song tries to move to mount but Pomchaiw blocks the move with his legs. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Pomchaiw is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Song has knee on belly and moves into mount. Song is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Pomchaiw is surviving well by controlling Song's body position as best he can. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Song looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Song controlling from the full mount. Song is working for a guillotine from mount but Pomchaiw frees his head quite easily.
Song looking to secure an arm triangle but Pomchaiw defends it well. Song looking for a guillotine from mount but Pomchaiw is having none of it. Song is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Pomchaiw has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Song tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Song moves to back control. Pomchaiw is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Song.
Song's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Song is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Pomchaiw won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Song off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tim Song! Tim Song is the new bantamweight champion!
